FAQs

How many people can The Old Stone Chapel accommodate?
Our main sanctuary can hold about 320 people comfortably.

Where is The Old Stone Chapel located?
Our facility is located at 415 W. Tuscarawas St., Canton OH, 44702 in downtown Canton, Ohio.

Is there a rental cost for the Chapel? Can we tour the facility?
For rental rate information or to schedule a tour, please contact the Historic Onesto Event Center at (330) 458-3097. Or use our Contact Form.

Can we use The Chapel for our ceremony rehearsal?
Yes. Our facility rental includes usage of The Chapel for your rehearsal session.

Can we use our own officiant?
Yes! Since we are a privately-owned facility and the Chapel does not have a practicing congregation, we do not have a relationship with an officiant. Feel free to invite your family’s pastor, a friend or relative perform your ceremony.

Are there accommodations at The Chapel for bridal parties to prepare for the ceremony?
We recommend brides get ready for their ceremony off site. The Old Stone Chapel has a small waiting area available for hair and makeup touch-ups.

Can The Old Stone Chapel help with our reception, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or groomsmen dinner?
Absolutely. The Old Stone Chapel is located in downtown Canton, Ohio just a few blocks away from sister property the Historic Onesto Event Center. The Onesto matches the historical elegance your guests will enjoy at The Chapel.

The Onesto provides catering exclusively through Dishes by Design. We have a great relationship with several other area vendors including wedding planners, florists, photographers, videographers, entertainers/DJs and more–just ask for our recommendations!

Can The Old Stone Chapel accommodate other types of events?
The Chapel is reserved for wedding ceremonies only.

Where can guests park?
The Old Stone Chapel has made arrangements for your guests to park in the Onesto/Bliss Lofts Parking Deck with entrance on Cleveland Ave., NW. at 238 Cleveland Ave., NW just a few blocks away and behind The Onesto. There are also parking decks located directly across the street (although they are not open 24/7; be sure to check posted signs). Street parking is available around all of the facilities and is free after 6:00 pm on weekdays and all weekend long.
